Jonathan began participating in kart races when he was 8 years old. Up until the age of 15, he raced in the Motorsport Ireland Championship, and he represented Ireland three times in a row at the IAME World Finals in Le Mans.

Then, as his love for the sport grew and a "hobby" started to turn into a desire, he made the choice to travel to England to race in order to compete on a bigger scale. 

 

Jonathan began racing in Formula Ford the following year. Jonathan won the prestigious Formula Ford Festival in 2019, his second year of car racing.
